Upper Buckton is a Georgian house surrounded by beautiful grounds that slope gently down to the mill stream and out to the motte. Beyond this lies the ha-ha, old fashioned meadowland, the River Teme and the forested Wigmore Rolls. The house is comfortably furnished with interesting paintings and antique furniture. Of the three bedrooms, two have an en suite bathroom and one has private facilities and beds are fitted with electric blankets. An enjoyable home-cooked dinner is available by prior arrangement. In the cooler months the sitting room is a pleasant place to take afternoon tea and enjoy an after-dinner coffee around the log fire.
