The Old Ferryboat Inn

Back Lane, HOLYWELL, PE27 4TG

AA Logo 3 star rating

This delightful thatched inn sits in a tranquil setting beside the Great Ouse river, on the periphery of the village of Holywell. Said to be the oldest inn in England, with foundations dating back to 560AD, the inn retains much original character and charm. Bedrooms are soundly appointed, and the open-plan public rooms have a relaxed atmosphere. The extensive gardens, with views of the river, prove popular in the summer months.
