This charming inn can trace its history back to the 12th century, and is very much the archetypal village local, with a wonderful atmosphere and warm welcome. The bedroom is spacious and doubles up as a self-catering apartment, thus offering plenty of flexibility. Quality and comfort are impressive throughout with all the expected mod-cons combined with period features. The inviting bar is warmed by crackling logs fires, and is always filled with the sound of good-natured banter. Dinner and breakfast make use of excellent local produce.
