The aim of the Level Crossing Awareness Scheme is to enable drivers to gain a fuller understanding of the dangers and potential consequences of failing to comply with automatic level crossing signals and, as a result, change their driving behaviour.

Content:

The Course consists of an interactive presentation on all aspects of driving and the dangers of ‘jumping a level crossing’ in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

The key objectives are to:
•    Identify the benefits of complying with level crossings
•    Understand the possible consequences of non compliance
•    Improve your knowledge of level crossings
•    Raise awareness of appropriate attitudes towards the use of level crossings
•    Recognise personal responsibility in driving choices

Venues:

The Level Crossing Awareness Scheme is run throughout England and Wales. We do offer a selection of venues to keep travelling distances to a minimum. Please note not all venues may be available on your specified date. For more details on your venue and directions, see tabs to the left.
